I had a few SYOS Link inspired mouthpieces that I purchased at a good price, They were at best OK and not very inspirational to play. I was watching a video of Chad LB where he was using his SYOS signature mouthpiece and he sounded fabulous on it.With a PASSIVE speaker system, traditionally the weak part is the speakers, so replacing the speakers often allows you to use more power without them sounding like garbage, and without blowing the speakers. A good set of active speakers solves that problem very nicely. Dat. Sax.But at least there's no confusion with closed keys as they're opened for specific notes - LH (palm) high D, Eb and F keys, front F key, RH side Bb, C and high E keys, high F# and cross/chromatic/key/side F# or F# key, then G# key, low Eb and low C# keys. To flatten it out you can hold the left hand pinky B or Bb key. I got it back and now I have a new problem. Before I've never used to have a sticky G# or C# key, (left pinky G#, and low C#) but now, everytime I take it out of the case, I need to "unstick" it with a bill or something or else ...The rails might be just slightly thicker on the S+, but I didn't notice any change in the feel of the piece. The only big difference I can see between the S and S+ is the chamber. As far as sound, the S+ definitely has more body in the tone to my ears, mainly in the upper range and altissimo. I prefer something a little more complex, so I favor the Mark IV over the Mark III.
