Once a sear engagement adjustment was added in the first year or two, the triggers became pretty darn good. The problem with WSM is that performance at range is hard to perceive when most people can't/don't shoot much past 150 yards. I put the current Burris 3-12X on my .22 Hornet Exemplar. Magnification of 12X in a EER scope is about the limit for me on hold-ability and twitchy-ness, and it focuses well under 20 yards, maybe even 10 yards. The image is in focus at about 10', but I haven't checked for parallax at that distance.

As far as I know, there are no aftermarket barrel makers making a direct replacement barrel for these.
